Afternoon Art: Grades 1 through 8 meet in multi-age groups after school for an art program. Groups meet once a week in sessions that run from three to six weeks. Students use a variety of media. There is a fee for this program.

Christmas Store: Every year students get into the Christmas spirit by attending our Christmas Store. Many volunteers work throughout the year to make crafts to sell on this special day. The gymnasium is transformed into a Christmas wonderland where all school students can purchase gifts for their families. Older students accompany and help the younger ones.

Christmas and Spring Concerts: The music teacher prepares students in grades Pre-K 4 through 4th grade to perform in two concerts a year. The Christmas concert is a morning performance and the Spring concert is an evening performance scheduled in December and May.

Community Service: Students participate in the following community service activities:
  • Students collected Girl Scout cookies and phone cards that were sent to our soldiers in Iraq.
  • Students donate food items for the annual Thanksgiving food drive and “Soup for Super Bowl” for the Interfaith Food Pantry.
  • Seventh and Eighth Grade students prepared Mother’s Day baskets for the Healthy Family organization for single mothers.
  • During December students collected toys and blankets for Appalachia.
  • In January hats and mittens were brought in for the Community Soup Kitchen.
  • February was dedicated to do acts of kindness towards others.
  • Every Tuesday an individual class would prepare a lunch with a drink and snack for the Community Soup Kitchen.
  • Students send financial donations and household items to the victims all over the world who have been devastated by tragic events.
  • A parent committee sends out cards, messages and gifts for birth, death, or illnesses within the school community..
Enrichment: The Home and School Association's Enrichment Committee plan several enrichment sessions throughout the school year. Enrichment programs change yearly.

Music Lessons: Partesi Music Services offers music lessons for piano, brass, percussion and guitar. Students from grades 1 through 8 are enrolled in after school small group classes. There is a music recital at the end of the year. Gifted musicians qualify for the Diocesan Orchestra. There is a fee for this program.

Scouts: Students can participate in the Daisies, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Tigers, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. All troops are members of the Morris County Council of Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts.

Forensics: Students in Grades 5 through 8 participate in forensic competitions. There are two competitions a year.

Sports: Students have opportunities to participate in the following sports:
  • Basketball - Varsity boys and girls, grades 7 and 8. Junior Varsity girls, grades 5 and 6.
  • Cheerleading - Fourth grade girls cheer for Varsity home games.
  • Cross Country - Boys and girls, grades 3 through 8 (Fall).
  • Track - Boys and girls, grades 3 through 8 (Spring).
  • Softball - Girls, grades 6 through 8 (April and May)
  • Baseball - Boys, grades 7 and 8 (April and May).
  • Tennis Clinic - Boys and girls, grades 4 through 8 (April and May).
  • Volleyball - Girls grades 7 and 8.
  • Skiing - Boys and girls, grades 5 through 8. After school program at Shawnee, Pa. Includes lessons and twilight skiing.
  • Basketball Clinic - Grade 4 Boys and Girls
  • Girls Soccer - Grades 6 -8
  • CYO - Students have the opportunity to participate in various CYO teams.
Student Council: The Student Council represents students from grades 5 through 8. There are 2 representatives from each class and 4 executive officers from the 8th grade. Student Council officers are elected by their peers. The students participate in charitable works. They plan student dances, the school fair, and a talent show.

Yearbook: Eighth graders have the opportunity to work on the school yearbook. Eighth grade volunteers work from October to February on designing and organizing the book.
